ATFC 5th Annual Turkish Movie Night


American Turkish Friendship Council (ATFC) is hosting THE 5TH ANNUAL TURKISH MOVIE NIGHT.
 
This year we will display Eksi Elmalar- Sour Apples - a 20-year-long journey that starts in Hakkari and ends in Antalya…Written by BKM

Cast: Yilmaz Erdogan, Songul Oden, Farah Zeynep Abdullah Sukran Ovali Devrim Yakut Sukru Ozyildiz Fatih Artman Ersin Korkut Caner, Cindoruk Cezmi Baskin
 
Yilmaz Erdogan, starring as Mayor Aziz Ozay, wife Ayda (Devrim Yakut) and their children each more beautiful than the other Muazzez (Farah Zeynep Abdullah), Turkan (Songul Oden) and Safiye (Sukran Ovali) begin their story within a magnificent apple orchard in Hakkari during the late 1970’s and take us on a journey until the 1990’s ending in Antalya.

TICKET PRICE: $50, Students: $25 (with valid ID)
All proceeds from this evening will be used to support the education of disadvantaged, Turkish and American, children and adolescent girls through the ATFC - C4L Project.
Before the movie, complimentary light appetizers and drinks will be served.
