The ATFC continued with its outreach efforts to educate American students about the history and culture of Turkey.

On March 6, 2015, The ATFC continued with its outreach efforts to educate American students about the history and culture of Turkey. 125 Students at Sutton Middle School in Atlanta enjoyed a program about Turkey presented by the Turkish Student Associations of Georgia State University, Georgia Institute of Technology, and Emory University. The event was also sponsored by The Turkish Honorary Consul, Mona Sunshine. The ATFC would like to express its gratitude to the student presenters. Efforts like these are a very important element in helping young people to better understand different cultures. Most often, the students learn that their lives and the lives of students in Turkey are actually very similar. "
