SabaS.Colakoglu, Ph.D.

  • During 2009-2017, Saba was on the faculty of Berry College in Rome, Georgia as an Associate Professor of Management. She also held a Visiting Professor position at Koc University between 2013-2017. Before starting her career in academia, she worked as a Human Resource Management Professional at Nokia Networks focusing on selection and talent development.
  •  Dr. Colakoglu is a Lecturer in the Organizational Behavior group at the Scheller College of Business, Georgia Institute of Technology. She received her Ph.D. in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from Rutgers University, School of Management and Labor Relations in 2009. She also holds an MBA degree from Bilkent University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Middle East Technical University. She is a graduate of T.E.D. Ankara College Foundation Schools, class of 91.
  • Saba has more than ten years of experience teaching both undergraduate- and MBA-level courses in organizational behavior, human resource management, cross-cultural management, and leadership. Her research in these areas appeared in premier academic journals and she has received several recognitions for her work in both research and teaching. Saba is also a board member for the Women in Academy of International Business helping women pursue academic careers in international business.
  • She lives in Marietta, GA with her husband Ahmet, her two boys Ali and Efe, and their dog Coco.
